I needed to let some inner thoughts out onto paper...

Last night I couldn't get to sleep as quickly as usual. I had many thoughts coursing through my head. I knew that I had to get them out or my brain would not rest so I got out some paper and a pen and I wrote them down just as they came to me. I just rambled on and on until they all came out. I thought I would share them with you.

  1. Your inner voice sounds so much like mine! I've been in a "slump" for some time now...

    I think once I get my 'household' stuff in order, I'll get back on track. I think one way to get your creative juices flowing or get back to doing stuff, is use prompts.

    You can do something as simple as write words on slips of paper and pull one from a jar each week...or go check out Emily Falconbridge's Deck of Me - (art journal cards done on 52 playing cards or on ATC cards, using prompts, one for each week) or use The Dares, or other stuff...(I know, I should talk...I'm the Queen of Good Intentions lol I have access to all this too, but just haven't gotten myself to Just Do It.

    It's fun too, if you involve online art friends...take turns coming up with the prompt and everyone makes their interpretation of it....or do the same prompt you obtain from a book, or other website, etc. and compare notes.

    Just thoughts, ideas....
    I know exactly where you are...I've been there awhile too. (At least you are posting to your blog, lol. My creative blog has cobwebs! heheh)
